Rick Remick has been the CEO of IMS since 2004. He joined the company in 1998, originally serving as COO. Rick leads the IMS executive committee, which has overseen dramatic geographical expansion and dynamic growth of Fortune 200 clients and maintains continued excellence serving longstanding IMS clients. Prior to joining IMS, Rick spent 17 years at Leo Burnett where he became president of Field Marketing Services. Rick received his BS and MBA from Notre Dame.
Carolyn Close joined IMS as CFO/CIO in 1990. In addition to managing profitable growth and the addition of hundreds of associates for IMS over the past decade, Carolyn is fully accountable for IMS financial reporting to our parent company, the Omnicom Group. Prior to IMS, Carolyn managed acquisitions at Centel (now Sprint), and did financial analysis at Homart Development Company (a division of Sears). Carolyn has a BA in economics and mathematics from William and Mary and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Jim Tracy joined IMS in 2005. He currently oversees IMS’ QSR partnership as well as a leading CPG client. He was also critical to IMS expansion into Canada in 2010 with one of IMS’ largest clients. Prior to IMS, Jim spent 22 years at Leo Burnett Company where he managed several CPG accounts before becoming EVP/Account Director, overseeing the Global Walt Disney Attraction businesses. Jim received a BA in economics from Denison University.
Sally Harrington has been at IMS since 1996 and currently leads the in-store merchandising assignments for IMS’ largest CPG clients. She has a strong background in shopper marketing and merchandising supply chain. Sally is also a member of the executive committee, driving innovation, integration, and efficiency across IMS’ complex large-scale accounts. Prior to joining IMS, Sally held account management and media planning positions at DMB&B. She received a BA from John Carroll University and an MBA in marketing from DePaul University.
Doug Carlson has been at IMS since 1998 in various account management positions and now oversees new business development. He is a member of the IMS executive committee, which focuses on sharing best practices to drive innovation and supply chain savings for IMS’ category leading clients. Doug spent more than 10 years at several Chicago advertising agencies prior to joining IMS, including Omnicom-agency DDB. Doug has an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Loyola-Chicago.
Laura Manion overseas the IMS promotional products business, developing long-term client partnerships that provide innovative marketing solutions and customized proprietary merchandise. Laura manages our turn-key operations for premiums from the creative development through fulfillment. She has been with IMS since 1998 and has a BA from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Laura previously worked for Ernst and Young.
Tim Leahy has been at IMS since 1998, originally serving as director of sales and marketing on all of the branded merchandise activities. In 2002, Tim was named vice president-general manager, leading all the promotional activities and subsequently all the local signage activities specific to a major fast food company. In 2013, Tim became a senior vice president. Prior to joining IMS, Tim spent 12 years at Leo Burnett where he was an account lead on clients that included Eckrich Meats, Kellogg’s, Fruit of the Loom, and Dean Witter. Tim received his BS in advertising from the University of Illinois and his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
New to IMS in 2015, Jeff brings a rich history of supply chain and logistics. Jeff graduated from Miami University with a BS in business and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. Jeff started his career working for the Quaker Oats Company, spending 14 years in various logistics and supply chain roles, including integrating the Quaker and Pepsi warehouse supply chain networks following Pepsi’s merger with Quaker. Jeff left Quaker in 2003 to become the Vice President of Logistics at ConAgra Foods and was the lead for ConAgra’s warehouse operations. Prior to joining IMS in early 2015, Jeff was the Vice President of Inventory Management for Sears Holdings for seven years.
Todd Cromheecke joined IMS in 2007, leading IMS business development efforts and co-managing an internal group responsible for sourcing materials for Omnicom agencies called Aggregated Sourcing. Todd has overseen the addition of multiple Fortune 200 companies to the IMS roster, guiding the engagements through the evaluation process and transition effort. Todd also works closely with our parent company, the Omnicom Group, serving as the primary contact for cross-agency efforts and initiatives. Todd received his BA from Dartmouth, and spent 17 years in account management at Leo Burnett.
Josh Tobey has been at IMS since 2012 and currently leads IMS’ strategic sourcing and internal strategy groups. Additionally, Josh co-manages an internal group responsible for sourcing printed materials across Omnicom agencies called Aggregated Sourcing. Prior to IMS, Josh worked in management consulting for A.T. Kearney and before that, he worked in brand management for Unilever. Josh has a BS in chemical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Mike Winkle has been part of IMS since 2010, leading the technology team and growing the portfolio of solutions across all of our businesses delivering efficiency, productivity, and savings. Prior to IMS, Mike held several positions in the area of supply chain and e-commerce application systems across multiple industries. Mike has a BS in computer science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA from DePaul University.
